Roster Hours Overview Dashboard Release Notes:
Find how many hours employees have worked or are scheduled to work displayed per Role, Shift Type or Pay Variant - your choice! The report is highly configurable thanks to many filters, so you can make your own version that’s most useful for you.
You can now see when the data was last refreshed! This is the “Latest Data Sync”.
Dashboard Purpose:
Access and export all worked or scheduled hours on the roster. Filter by Time Period, Employee, Shift or Absence Type, Type of Work, Contract Type, Job Title or Location and configure the hours you want to see by handling paid / unpaid pay records, pay exceptions, agency staff or absence shifts.
This report includes 2 ways how to split hours into columns:
- Role: Hours are split based on the Role (the same way they are split on the roster). If the Role is an absence type, the name of the absence is displayed as well.
- Pay variant: See all hours split by pay variants. For shift hours that don’t have one (future shifts) ‘No pay variant yet’ is displayed.
- Shift Type: Hours split by Shift types.
➕ What are the benefits of this?
- Easily view all employees' hours, whether scheduled for the future or recorded from the past, all in one convenient place.
- Configure the report to your needs and switch perspectives with the simple use of a filter.
📊 Dynamic Parameter:
On top of having many filters to narrow down results, you can leverage the ‘Pivot by’ filter to change what are hours aggregated by. Current options include Role and Pay Variant.
❗️Important Definitions and Considerations:
- One of the location filters (Location, Parent Location, Grandparent Location) has to be added in order for the report to display the results. This is to avoid heavy calculations and wait time when you open the report.
- For past shifts, the report considers T&A data (payroll data) provided that pay queries are resolved. For future shifts, the report uses rostered shift times.
